In addition, there are many other churches, castles and other historical sites to explore in the local area. With so much to take in, you won't be short of things to do during your stay.

There are 3 pubs that all offer delicious food and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Alternatively, you can take a short drive to Barmouth and explore the many coffee shops, takeaways, and of course, enjoy some delicious fish and chips. Our holiday cottage is spoilt for choice with a range of great beaches on the doorstep. Take a stroll down the 4 miles of sandy beach at Harlech Beach, go rock pooling at Llandanwg and have a delicious drink at the cafe. Go for a day trip to Shell Island or explore the golden sands of Barmouth. Whether you're looking for a family day out or somewhere peaceful and secluded to relax, we have the perfect beach for you.

Cwm Yr Afon holiday cottages are set in the rolling Welsh hills and offer the perfect escape for a relaxing holiday. Our cottages are situated on a working sheep farm, providing a unique opportunity to experience the everyday life of a farm. You will be able to enjoy views of the sheep grazing the lush green landscape and may even spot some of the local wildlife.
